ABOUT US:
Caring Hearts Dentistry Society is a registered non-profit society that is purely civic and social in nature. It is a group of Canadian-Filipino dentists and volunteers from Vancouver, British Columbia and perform International dental missions. Our team members include dentists, nurses, hygienists, dental assistants, medical workers, social workers and professionals from other field of work in Canada. We aim to provide a much-needed free dental service and basic humanitarian care to indigents and less-fortunate individuals in remote and far-flung communities. It is an organization dedicated to excellence in dental service through dental missions to ensure optimal oral health care of the needy.
Elena Agala of Rotary World Help and Rotary Club of Richmond Sunrise heads this International project together with Dr. Danilo P. Salcedo as CHDS president. Other founding members are Dr. Gloria Samosa (Vice-Pres.),Dr. Francisca Valdes, Francisco Valdes (Treasurer), Nerissa Salcedo (Secretary) and Pacifico Alegro.
Caring Hearts Dentistry Society is committed in bringing the optimal oral health care to people in the Philippines particularly the blind adults, children and battered women that are housed under the Ministry of Social Service in the Philippines.
The Dental Team will set up a dental clinic in every mission in the Philippines to provide dental care and education to hundreds of children in which many have never seen a Dentist and are suffering from serious dental problem.
All members pay for their own expenses
