On January 2013, the three (3) dentists and Elena Agala coined the idea of forming a Dental Team that will perform free dental service and promote advancement of oral health and oral education to indigent people in the Philippines. All veterans of numerous international dental missions, creating a Society to do free dental projects are an easy task. Having had worked together as a Dental Team on February 2010 in three different provinces of the Philippines, namely, Talisay, Bacolod, Aliaga, Nueva Ecija and Nasugbu, Batangas, offering free professional service has always been their common advocacy and interest. The Team have a great urgency to inject collective efforts to save adults and children's oral health problems. They also want to inspire people to practice oral hygiene.

 

On the first week of August 2013, CHDS Mission Team started packing and sorting out 9 dental chairs with complete operating system, dental x-ray machines, dental supplies, hospital equipment, dialysis machines, cardio-pulmonary monitors, mammography apparatus, ultrasound machines, microscopes, mattresses, beds, clothing, blankets, books, toys, computer sets, boxes of Firefighter equipment/gears and other health needs  for the January 2014 Dental Mission to Panglao, Bohol and Cebu City which were shipped ahead of the dental project.

 

Eventually, the cargo container was sent to Panglao, Bohol & Cebu City on the second week of October 2013 from Vancouver, British Columbia.

On July, September and October 2013, a total of three (3) cargo containers with similar contents were shipped to Manila, Philippines. CHDS Mission Team will be launching three (3) Dental Clinics in three (3) poor hospitals in the said municipality by January 2014.

 

On November 28 and December 3, 2013, two (2) 45 ft. cargo containers full of donations from different companies and people in British Columbia, Canada have been sent entirely for super Typhoon Haiyan victims in Tacloban and other cities in Leyte. Said Visayan province was devastated by a Category 5 typhoon.
